PAQ x Malmsten - Partnership Renewed Through 2029

PanAm Aquatics is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Malmsten through 2029.

Ibagué 2026 One Pool, One Continent

In less than a month, Ibagué, Colombia will host the 5th PanAm Aquatics Swimming Championships, and the numbers speak for themselves: 30 national federations, 550+ athletes, and five electrifying days of competition.

Serving as an official qualifier for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) Beijing 2026, Lima 2027 Pan American Games, the Budapest 2027 World Aquatics Championships, and the 2027 World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships, this is one of the most important aquatic events on the continental calendar.

Sophie Angus (CAN, SW), Jack Dahlgren (USA, SW), and Percy Escobar (BOL, OW) share their distinct paths navigating the shift from collegiate and amateur competition into elite professional aquatics. Hosted by Valerie Gruest (GUA, SW), the conversation explores the motivational, financial, and lifestyle adjustments that come with post-graduate sport – from building intrinsic drive outside team environments, to understanding sponsorships and managing training logistics.
