Cali, Colombia hosted an exciting week of water polo action from April 13–19, as 11 countries came together for the C.A.C. Games Qualifier – Cali 2026 by PanAm Aquatics. With 60 matches across 8 women’s and 11 men’s teams, the event delivered high-intensity competition and set the tone for Santo Domingo 2026. The top 6 women’s teams and top 7 men’s teams secured qualification, joining host nation Dominican Republic, in what promises to be a highly competitive tournament later this year.

This session shares practical strategies for skill development in large groups and limited-resource environments. Moving beyond ideal training scenarios, it introduces a constraints-led approach focused on high-impact fundamentals such as propulsion and drag reduction.
Through activities that provide automatic feedback, clear numerical goals, and “sub-group buckets” based on skill level, coaches can create a more engaged, autonomous, and effective learning environment for every athlete in the pool.
