PAQ Athletes’ Committee

The PanAm Aquatics Athletes Committee represents the voice of athletes across all aquatic disciplines in the Americas. Composed of athlete leaders with vast experience in aquatics, the Committee works to ensure that athlete perspectives are meaningfully integrated into decision-making at every level of the organization as well as within their National Federations.

It advocates for policies and initiatives that prioritize athlete well-being, fairness, and opportunity, while supporting access to resources, mentorship, leadership development, and education. The Committee also serves as a bridge between athletes and governance bodies—strengthening communication, promoting transparency, and helping shape a safe, inclusive, and high-performance aquatic environments across the continent.
