Masters Working Group

The Masters Working Group is a collaborative initiative between the PAQ Athletes Committee and the PAQ Masters Committee, focused on advancing education, participation, and program development for Masters aquatics across the Americas. Its purpose is to strengthen the long-term health of the discipline by keeping athletes connected to aquatics, building vibrant communities, and creating clear pathways for lifelong participation—whether for fitness, skill development, leadership, or competition.

This initiative addresses the need for sustained athlete engagement, ensuring athletes remain active contributors to the aquatic ecosystem and that programs are equipped to support them in such journey. The Masters Working Group helps foster cross-generational impact, strengthen community leadership, promote health and wellness, and provide Masters athletes with greater access to information, belonging, and meaningful opportunities within PAQ’s broader aquatic movement.

Our education pillar equips Masters coaches, club leaders, and athletes with the tools to start, grow, and sustain Masters aquatics programs, supporting confident coaching, informed participation, strong operations, and vibrant communities across the Americas.

Engagement

Our engagement pillar focuses on building a strong, connected network of Masters athletes, coaches, and supporters across the Americas. Through athlete-led working groups, community connections, recognition initiatives, and accessible participation opportunities, we foster collaboration, visibility, and lifelong engagement in Masters aquatics.
